Hong Kong X Technology Fundannounces its first investment intosix rising Hong Kong-based technology companies as part of an accelerator program and launch of its second X-LAB, a co-working space for technology companies, in Jordan on August 12th, 2017. Several of the investee companies will move into X-LAB.

2016未來科學大獎揭曉：香港X科技創業平台導師盧煜明榮獲生命科學獎。自1989年證明孕婦的血液裡存在胎兒細胞，盧煜明一直致力於研究分子生物學的臨床應用，並在無創性產前DNA檢測領域處於前沿的位置。未來大獎監督委員會高西慶致電盧煜明宣佈了他得獎的消息，盧在電話中說：“哇，這太突然了。感謝委員會給我這個機會，希望吸引更多年輕一代的熱情，做出更多的工作......"
